Introducing Background Removal: a tool that erases the old and welcomes the new, empowering you to set your avatar against a backdrop that matches your story perfectly. Use your existing avatar in any setting you like, in the office, out in nature, or on an alien planet.

Whether you're looking for simplicity with a solid color, inspiration among our extensive selection of premade backgrounds, or aiming to make it personal by uploading your own image, we've made sure your creativity knows no bounds.

Here's how to change your avatar’s backdrop:

1. Pick Your Character: Choose an avatar or upload a new face ready to be animated.

2. Erase the Ordinary: Click on your avatar and select 'Remove Background' from the top menu to clear away the current setting.

3. Set the New Scene: Tap the 'Background' button to unveil new settings. Select a solid color for simplicity, pick one of our premade backgrounds for instant creativity, or upload your own image for a truly unique touch.

4. Bring Your Story to Life: With your backdrop set, add your script, choose a voice, and generate your video.

We are thrilled to announce that, starting today, users of Creative Reality™ Studio who are subscribed to our Pro, Advanced, and Enterprise plans will have access to presenter voices powered by ElevenLabs.
These voices can be found under English US on the dropdown Language Menu and you can identify them by the crown icon👑 featured next to them.

ElevenLabs, a powerful voice synthesizing platform, has partnered with D-ID to provide paying customers with a variety of high-quality voices that let your AI presenters sound more natural than ever.

If you are a Pro, Advanced, or Enterprise user, go ahead and give them a try. If you are a trial or Lite plan subscriber, now is the time to upgrade!

Want to make your video content more accessible and comprehensible to a diverse audience? We've got you covered with our new Subtitles feature in the Creative Reality™ studio.

Now, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise users can activate subtitles, offering text versions of spoken dialogue in videos. When the subtitles toggle is switched ON, you can download the text as an .srt file from the video library screen.

Trial/Lite users can unlock this feature by upgrading their subscription.
