Today we're thrilled to introduce our product news page where we’ll keep you informed about updates and changes we are continuously pushing to our Creative Reality Studio. This includes new features, improvements, fixes but also scheduled maintenances.

We are constantly working to improve our studio and your satisfaction is our main metric for success. However, sometimes, it may seem that not much is happening. We know that communication is important and this news page is here to keep you up to date.

Our new free web app, chat.D-ID, is the first of its kind to let you talk face-to-face with ChatGPT and it’s now live in Beta! 

Based on the capabilities you are familiar with from the Creative Reality Studio, now you can really talk to AI using speech and video instead of just text, just like you do IRL. Try it yourself, you can hold up to five chats, each consisting of six back-and-forth interactions.

The same streaming animation technology that powers chat.D-ID is also available via an API, making it possible for developers and businesses of all sizes to integrate the app's conversational capabilities with their own AI models.

This month we opened our robust and elastic API to the developer community, providing builders and makers with the ultimate solution to create customized videos featuring digital humans. There is no better way to integrate D-ID’s capabilities into your projects, including unique features like customizing the watermark or selecting the driver video, which are only available to API users.

D-ID’s API key is now available to all paying studio subscribers by clicking the “generate new key” button in your account settings. You will be charged 1 credit for every API call. Trial users who want to test out the API can reach out directly to support.

We are delighted to introduce two incredibly powerful generative AI tools to our studio – GPT-3 and Stable Diffusion. These new additions will help you achieve extraordinary results in record time!

📝 GPT-3, which is a large language model developed by OpenAI, helps you generate realistic scripts and dialogue for your talking avatars, making them more lifelike and engaging. All you have to do is type in a prompt for what you want the AI to write and click on the magic wand to get a full text. You can also begin writing and the AI will complete your line of thought.

🎨 Stable Diffusion is a generative model that can generate realistic images from text descriptions. With our “Generate AI Presenter” feature, you can generate endless images of people you want to turn into avatars simply by typing in a description. This allows you to create digital representations of people who may not be available to be photographed or filmed, such as historical figures or fictional characters.

D-ID has introduced two new pricing tiers —Lite and Advanced— to ensure that everyone can take advantage of the Creative Reality Studio’s incredible offering at a cost that meets their budget and needs.

At $5.99 a month, the Lite Plan offers a lean package that’s perfect for those who are just getting started or expect to produce a small number of videos. It provides access to all of our generative AI tools and the library of standard presenters.

The Advanced Plan is a great option for users who want to create larger volumes of videos and use more of our great features. At $299 per month ($249 for an annual subscription) the Advanced Plan is perfect for businesses or content creators who want to regularly incorporate our videos into their products or content. It offers 65 minutes of generated video, access to D-ID’s powerful API, commercial usage rights, and access to the PowerPoint plug-in.
